This week wee leftt 08:00 to Leptis Magna in Libya.

Leptis Magna,(Arabic: لبده‎) also known as Lectis Magna (or Lepcis Magna as it is sometimes spelled), also called Lpqy or Neapolis, was a prominent city of the Roman Empire. Its ruins are located in Al Khums, Libya, 130 km east of Tripoli, on the coast where the Wadi Lebda meets the sea. The site is one of the most spectacular and unspoiled Roman ruins in the Mediterranean.

The trip was long and we where not back in camp before 17:00.

Leptis magna is much better then Sabratha when it comes to remaining buildings and things to see.
If you are in Libya you can’t miss this.

This Saturday we left our camp at 09:00 for a trip to Sabratha.

Sabratha’s port was established, perhaps about 500 BC, as a Phoenician trading-post that served as a coastal outlet for the products of the African hinterland. Sabratha became part of the short-lived Numidian Kingdom of Massinissa before being Romanized and rebuilt in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. The Emperor Septimus Severus was born nearby in Leptis Magna, and Sabratha reached its monumental peak during the rule of the Severans. The city was badly damaged by earthquakes during the 4th century, particularly the quake of AD 365. It was rebuilt on a more modest scale by Byzantine governors. Within a hundred years of the Arab conquest of the maghreb, trade had shifted to other ports and Sabratha dwindled to a village.

My second day in Libya is soon over.
I use Nespresso in Sweden and I’m really happy to see that they have it here in Libya also.
Unfortunate they use the professional version and not the one I have, but I could by some pods from the Italian Mafia.

Later tonight we will go to the supermarket and buy some food.

I have now almost been to Libya for one day. The picture above showing my apt/house here in the camp.

The biggest issue now is that you stay in a house and not in a hotel and all things that means….

I will give this a week until I give my final thoughts but I guess already what it will be..  *Smile*

I have used Twitter for some time now and been looking for a good application to be able to use it on my SonyEricsson Windows Mobile phone Xperia. It took some time but I have now found it, it is called Twikini and its from a company called Trinket Software. The application could be downloaded by visiting the following link Twikini.

Another good thing is that if you do write something on your Blog they will give you the software for free.

Today I went out for Dinner and some Drinks.

First place was called Revalia Grill House and is located at Raekoja plats 8. The food was ok not more. 

After the Dinner it was time for a Fresh Mojito at First Lounge in Rataskaevu 22. I missed to take a picture but I found something else…

I finnished the night at Pub Scotland Yard at Mere pst. 6ewith 2 drinks. I will go here again. 

I’m in Tallinn this week to do some work.

After work I took a walk in the old city of Tallinn, see my Picasa for more pictures.

Today we had lunch at Goody’s. Our colleague Shankar 20 really likes Salt and Pepper…

Almost night in Athens I have been going to a restaurant/cafe close to our hotel. The reason is that we always arrived home late after work and we where to lazy to go and find any new place to have dinner and beers. Another reason is that the personal in that place are really friendly and If I can add they are pretty also….

I will miss Starbucks when I leave Athens on Friday. I really like the Espresso Con Panna.

On Saturday me and Sean played golf in Glydada at Athens Golf Club. It was a not the best course but it was fun.

We started to play at 08:00 and where finished at 12:00, when we where done the temperature was aound 35….

Today Me and my collegue went for an early dinner.

When he heard about this place he started to cry and asked med:

"Please let us go there for Dinner."

On the way back from the lunch we could see a big fire on the other side of the office….
Lucky I’m not a firefighter in Greece today.

Today we had lunch at Ikea.

Yesterday I come back to Athens after 2 day’s on a Island called Poros. Poros is located around 1h away with boat from Athens.

During the 2 day’s we had a lot of fun and drinks. (Maybe to many on Saturday…)

Today is Bank Holiday here in Grece but I need to work anyway. I’m going home on Thursday to Gothenburg to celebrate Swedish Midsummer…. That will be fun…

When you miss Sweden you can always go to IKEA and have some Swedish food..

I’m at the moment working in Athens (Greece)

I have been here since middle of May and will stay to end of August.

This year I was trying to beat my record from 2006 on 1:59:33, my result this year was 1:57:19.

On 20 Feb I went out for a Long Run
The result was 15.43 Km on 1:27:51 with a pace at 5:41 pace.
I think I was running to fast because in the end I was so tired…

On 14 Feb I went out to run my new standard 7 Km track.
The result was 7.14 Km on 0:36:59 with a pace at 5:03 pace.
I have a small cold in my body and haven’t done anything for the last day’s so this was hard..

Me and a colleague went on a hockey game on the 17th Feb to see the game between KHK and Värnamo.
KHK defeated Värnamo with 9-2.

The most interesting in the game was the song the fans of KHK start singing when the players from Värnamo entered the arena.
Alla har en ko i Värnamo, the translation is Everyone have a Cow in Värnamo.
You need to be Swedish to se some fun in it…

On 14 Feb I went out to run my standard track.
The result was 10.77 Km on 0:58:43 with a pace at 5:27 pace.

On the 12th feb I had a plan to run at least 1h 30 min to get some endurance in the body…
The result was 15.53 Km on 1:36:56 with a pace at 6:14 pace.

On 10th Feb I went out to run my standard track.
The result was 10.72 Km on 0:58:00 with a pace at 5:24 pace.
The result on 10 Km was 0:54:00.

Yesterday I took a trip  to Skatås to run the 8 km track.
The result was 7.93 Km on 0:41:04 with a pace at 5:08 pace
